EVENT: Corporate Holiday Party, 200 guests

GOAL: Create a dazzling celebration to make guests feel they are "on cloud nine", in keeping with the company's aerospace product.

CHALLENGE: Making a work event truly joyous and fun for employees means creating an atmosphere that inspires guests to leave their "work self" at the door and share their authentic, joyous individuality.

SOLUTION: We had guests enter through a 10-foot balloon tunnel into a sumptuous courtyard enveloped by psychedelic balloon garlands. This created an "Alice in Wonderland" effect, making guests feel they were entering a 'new land' and leaving their work selves behind. We built a custom stage and 15 ft LED screen into the venue's courtyard for speeches and performances and created multiple food and bar stations with additional pass trays to maintain flow (less waiting, more fun).

We topped all this off with a custom branded drink menu, ice sculpture, 7-piece jazz band, fire spinners, Brazilian drummers, and carnival dancers. This event was LEGENDARY... employees still talk about it 3 years later.

EVENT: Happy hour and fireside chat, 120 guests

GOAL: This team wanted a bold networking event to stand apart from similar competing gatherings at an aerospace conference in Washington D.C.

CHALLENGE: The aerospace conference was in an enormous complex full of meeting rooms and event venues, all of which felt drab and uninspiring. Many of the competing events at the conference had larger budgets and bigger brand name value. To succeed, we had to produce a truly unique event that attendees would not only prioritize over other options, but be willing to leave the conference space in order to attend.

SOLUTION: We threw a one-of-a-kind happy hour at a waterfront ferris wheel at sunset. This included fireside chat with the CEO, pass trays, open bar, DJ, and a 12 ft LED screen to show off the company's tech. Guests rode the ferris wheel at sunset for epic views of DC National Harbor. All event staff were dressed in aerospace flight suits with custom event patches. It was the hottest ticket in town!

EVENT: Corporate Holiday Party

GOAL: This client wanted to celebrate an outstanding year with a high-octane holiday party inspired by the company's product: augmented reality.

CHALLENGE: The venue had a cozy vintage vibe with the tendency to feel loungey or a bit sleepy, so our challenge was to modernize and energize the space while maintaining its existing charm.

SOLUTION: We built a performance stage and dance floor in the venue's courtyard, surrounded the space with immersive projections on the trees and buildings, and built and a 14ft custom arched party entrance in the shape of the company's logo (with infinity mirrors to make it look like you were entering "the world of augmented reality"). We arranged a branded custom drink menu, bespoke dinner stations to keep the energy moving, a bossanova pop fusion opening music act, an 8-piece glam rock band headliner, rave lasers, Tron-inspired stilt dancers, and a disco mirror cat performer to work the crowd. Work hard, PLAY HARD.

EVENT: Executive conference, 120 guests

GOAL: This team wanted to produce a 2-day executive offsite in New York City, complete with a conference for 120 guests, swanky rooftop happy hour, custom "swag store" with branded giveaways, and engraved trophies for exemplary employees.

CHALLENGE: The client had only 8 weeks to plan, a modest budget for the goal, zero flexibility on dates, and was set on NYC as a location.

SOLUTION: We searched relentlessly for the perfect venue that could accommodate everything: hotel room block, conference space, and a private rooftop happy hour for 120 guests. This prevented the chaos of shuttling guests between venues or having them take public transportation in the city. To maximize the limited budget, we secured the room block at a discounted rate. We got creative with local vendors to build a "Swag Store", custom signage, and provide florals on minimal budget. The conference was a great success.

EVENT: Holiday party for an LA-based company, 200 guests

GOAL: Produce a classy cocktail party with vintage Americana vibes, USO style.

CHALLENGE: This was the company's first big party; it would set the bar for years to come. The CEO of this Aerospace company specifically wanted a vintage Americana style.

SOLUTION: For a venue we selected the Bike Shed Moto Co; vintage motorcycles, chesterfield leather couches, a grand entrance like a plane hangar, and an enormous wood and iron bar as the central focal point. The existing Americana style enabled us to save money on design and focus funds on entertainment and staff. We brought in a jazz band, USO-style dancers, a roaming magician, DJ, and event staff to support throughout. We also arranged an afterparty venue two blocks away for guests who weren't ready to end the night.

EVENT: Full company offsite, 200 guests

GOAL: Unite 200 employees from across the United States for 3 days of full-company meetings, breakout workshops, and a big celebration.

CHALLENGE: Traveling across the country for work is a tall order, especially around the holidays. Many of the employees had never met each other.

SOLUTION: We pitched to the client a full afternoon of team-building activities designed to spark adventure and inter-departmental collaboration. Employees would choose from 9 options including zip lining, go cart racing, art class, paintball, chess tournament, and wrapping holiday gifts for the local children's hospital. The client loved this idea.

We arranged everything from start to finish: hotels, meals, conference venues and schedule, 9 team building activities with chartered transportation, employee headshots, full company photos, and an epic holiday party to top it all off.

We successfully united the troops. The energy after the team-building afternoon was electric and several employees said, "This is the best company I've ever worked for."
